15/1-2010 Recording new album!
This week I started the long and exciting process of making a new album.
We recorded 3 songs with Petter Lindgård in Gula Studion in Malmö.

24/11 One gig left...
After playing almost 50 gigs with the band this year in Sweden, Denmark, Norway, USA, Germany,
Czech Republic, and Scotland we now have one gig left for this year. It is in Östersund at Gamla Teatern on Friday!
Next year I want to work with the new album, but we will also play some gigs... So keep your eyes open!
19/10 Autumn tour!
Last week we played in:
Norberg, Kungsör, Fasching (Stockholm), Jazzhouse (Copenhagen).
Next week:
Crescendo (Norrköping), Sigurdsgatan (Västerås), Umeå Jazzfestvial.

6/10-2009 San Francisco and Uri Caine
Tomorrow I am flying all the way to San Francisco! Looking forward so much!!
I am going to perform at Stanford University with the amazing Uri Caine Ensemble.
The concert is called The Othello Syndrome and the music is based on Verdis opera Othello.
More info about the show here. We made a cd of that a year ago on the label "Winter & Winter".
14/9-2009 Örebro
Tomorrow I am going home to the city where I was born, Örebro. It's the first gig there with my band so it's very exciting.
Come to Frimis in Örebro tomorrow at 19.00 if you are there...
Also you will hear wonderful Cecilia Persson play piano instead of Jonas Östholm.

8/7-2009 Hultsfred and Prague
Tomorrow I am gonna play piano and sing backing vocals with Maia Hirasawa at the big popfestival of Sweden called Hultsfred.
After that we are going to Kristianstad with Maia and then to the Bomhemia Jazzfestival in Czech Republic with my own band for 3 gigs!
I am looking forward very much! I have played a lot in Prague, with the czech guitarist David Doruzka. I think its the 7th time for me in Prague...
4/7-2009 Copenhagen Jazzfestival on Monday!
Right now I am in Copenhagen enjoying 30 degrees summerheat and a wonderful jazzfestival with over 900 bands all over the city in 10 days!
Me and my band are playing at Skuespilhuset on Monday at 22.30! It is a great house to play in so dont miss this if your around! Free entrance!
27/6-2009 Summertour!
Tomorrow the summertour begins with a gig in Berlin. Me and part of the band will play a outdoor gig in Schwedische Botschaft at Rauchstrasse 1.
And then we play in Copenhagen, Århus, Prague, Stockholm and more. Check out gigs!
21/5-2009 Nattjazz Bergen, Norway
On Sunday I am going with the band to Bergen in Norway to play at the wonderful festival Nattjazz.
I played there a couple of years ago with Django Bates, whom I am also playing with tomorrow in Coutance, France.
So I am leaving Sweden tonight...

7/5-2009 Norrland-tour
Now we are playing the last 4 gigs in the north of Sweden at the Maia Hirasawa- support tour.
Tonight we play in Skellefteå, Anderstorpsalen. Here's a pic from the bus. Many, many hours in that bus...Sweden is a huge country...
After this my own tour starts by playing a gig in Stockholm at Kulturhuset! Check out gigs.
28/4-2009 Leeds and Uppsala
The concert in Leeds with Efterklang was great. Check out diary for more
about that. Now I have a few days off and then on Saturday we have a gig in Uppsala at Katalin!
19/4-2009 Tourbreak and England
Today we came home after 11 gigs on the Sweden tour. We will have a small break now,
but on the break I will go to Leeds, England to perform with the danish band Efterklang and the British Sinfonia.
We will perform the album "Parades" from the beginning to the end! Check out gigs!
15/4-2009 Sunshine and music
April is a great month. It's sunny and we are playing lots of wonderful gigs all over Sweden!
After a short break we are going to Norrköping tomorrow.
